While television has a host of projects in the pipeline and a few are already on air, the competition on the TRP charts is fierce. There are also many OTT series being churned out on various digital platforms.
Money Control has an exclusive update of a series coming up for Amazon MX Player. Ananta Production is rolling out a new series titled Guns and Ghagra for the platform. It is a drama which will air my mid- September.
The series is a drama which will have some elements of action and drama. For the series, Nisha Nayak has been roped in as the female lead. Milan Singh will play the antagonist.
Nisha has earlier been seen in projects such as Sadda Haq, Kaleerein, Aukaat Se Zyaada, Vitro Mates and Pragaash among others. Milan, on the other hand, has been seen in Doree 2, Crime Patrol, Muskuraane Ki Wajah Tum Ho and Saasumaa Ne Meri Kadar Na Jaani.
The casting of the series is done by Devtosh Mukherjee, it is created by Anish N Surana and directed by Noel Smith.
Through its ad-supported streaming service, MX Player provides a variety of international content, including dubbed Korean dramas and Indian originals. Popular television programs include Raktanchal, Campus Diaries, and the MX Original series Aashram. Other programs include international series, including numerous well-known K-dramas, and the reality series Hip Hop India.

It boasts a strong focus on original programming, featuring popular shows like Jamnapaar, Half CA, Bhaukaal, Raktanchal, and Hunter.
A diverse selection of international shows, including Korean, Turkish, and Chinese dramas, are available, often dubbed in Hindi, Tamil, and Telugu under the MX Vdesi banner. Examples include What's Wrong With Secretary Kim?, Daydreamer, and My Girlfriend Is An Alien.
