Tamil film Amaran starring Sivakarthikeyan and Sai Pallavi, has quickly become a massive hit at the box office, earning over Rs 150 crore globally within just four days of its release. Directed by Rajkumar Periasamy, the movie has garnered positive reviews from both critics and audiences, making it one of the best-performing films in Sivakarthikeyan's career.

Released on October 31, Amaran is a biopic based on the life of Major Mukund Varadarajan, a soldier who was tragically killed during a mission in Shopian, Kashmir, in 2014. The film's storyline, which resonates with themes of bravery and sacrifice, has struck a chord with viewers, contributing to its strong performance.

Trade analyst Ramesh Bala confirmed the film's impressive achievement, stating that it joined the Rs 150-crore club within just four days. This rapid financial success can be attributed to the positive word-of-mouth surrounding the film, which is crucial for its continued theatrical run.

On its fourth day, Amaran maintained its impressive box office momentum. According to tracking website Sacnilk, the film earned Rs 21.50 crore nett in India on Day 4, nearly matching its opening day collection of Rs 21.40 crore. Here’s a breakdown of the film’s earnings over its first few days in India:

- Day 1: Rs 21.40 crore
- Day 2: Rs 19.15 crore
- Day 3: Rs 21.40 crore
- Day 4: Rs 21.50 crore

The total earnings in India so far stand at Rs 83.45 crore nett. With this strong performance, Amaran is on track to join the Rs 100-crore club in India shortly.

The film's popularity is reflected in its high occupancy rates. On November 3, the Tamil version recorded an impressive occupancy of 84.61 percent, while the Telugu version had a respectable 76.34 percent. These numbers indicate that audiences are not only watching the film but are also enthusiastic about it.

Amaran is based on a chapter from the book series India's Most Fearless: True Stories of Modern Military Heroes, written by Shiv Aroor and Rahul Singh. This chapter focuses on the valiant mission of Major Mukund Varadarajan, highlighting his courage and dedication.

The film is a joint production by Raaj Kamal Films International and Sony Pictures Films India. The cast includes notable actors such as Bhuvan Arora, Rahul Bose, Lallu, Shreekumar, Shyam Mohan, Geetha Kailasam, and Umair Ibn Lateef, all of whom contribute to the film's powerful narrative.

As Amaran continues its journey in theaters, all eyes are on its performance in the coming weekdays. The film's success not only showcases the talent of its cast and crew but also highlights the growing interest in biographical films that celebrate the lives of real-life heroes.
