Allu Arjun was taken into police custody on December 13 in relation to the death of a fan during the premiere of his film Pushpa 2: The Rule at Hyderabad's Sandhya Theatre. Videos and photos shared on social media show Arjun visibly upset with the police for entering his home and reaching his bedroom. At the time of his arrest, his wife Sneha Reddy, brother Sirish, and father, producer Allu Aravind, were present.
The incident that led to Allu Arjun's arrest occurred on December 4, when he visited Sandhya Theatre to watch Pushpa 2: The Rule with his wife Sneha and co-star Rashmika Mandanna. The visit caused chaos, resulting in the death of a 39-year-old fan and the hospitalization of her son. The police claim they were not notified about Arjun’s visit and have filed charges against both him and the theatre management. So far, four people have been arrested in connection with the incident.
