Trinamool Congress announces candidates for all 42 West Bengal seats l Lok Sabha election 2024

The Trinamool Congress surprised many with its list of candidates, which includes former cricketers Yusuf Pathan and Kirti Azad. It retained veteran MPs like Sudip Banerjee, Saugata Roy and Kalyan Banerjee, while dropping Nushrat Jahan and Barrackpore MP Arjun Singh. Instead, it fielded popular Bengali actors Rachana Banerjee and June Maliah. Shatrughan Sinha, who won a by-election in 2021, will contest from Asansol. The announcement ends speculation about seat-sharing with the Congress, as TMC announced candidates for all 42 Lok Sabha seats in West Bengal
