The Uttarakhand Public Service Commission (UKPSC) has recently revised the schedule for the upcoming Uttarakhand Combined State Civil/Upper Subordinate Services Examination-2024. Originally set for July 7, the UKPSC PCS Prelims Exam 2024 has now been rescheduled to take place on July 14, 2024. This decision was made to accommodate unforeseen circumstances that necessitated a shift in the examination timeline.
Girdhari Singh Rawat, the Secretary of the Commission, emphasized that the alteration in the schedule was essential and unavoidable. The original date of July 7 had been publicly announced earlier in the year as part of the UKPSC's annual examination calendar. However, the need for a change arose and was promptly addressed by the Commission.
In a earlier UKPSC PCS Exam 2024 notification released by the Commission, the details regarding vacancies for this cycle of examinations was released. A total of 189 positions are open for recruitment in various capacities within the Uttarakhand Government. These positions include - Deputy Collector, District Commandant of Home Guards, District Panchayati Raj Officer, and several other significant posts.
Candidates preparing for the UKPSC Combined Upper Subordinate Service Examination are advised to take note of the new examination date and to continue their preparations accordingly.
