According to the official notification, the board exams will be conducted in two phases starting from February 3, 2026. Students and schools can now access the detailed day-wise time table to begin their final preparations.
JAC Board Exam 2026Exam Duration: Class 10 (Matric) exams will run from February 3 to February 17, 2026. Class 12 (Intermediate) exams will be held from February 3 to February 23, 2026.
Exam Shifts: Matric exams will be conducted in the first shift (9:45 AM to 1:00 PM), while Intermediate exams will take place in the second shift (2:00 PM to 5:15 PM).
Admit Card Availability: Students can download their JAC 10th Hall Tickets from January 16, 2026, and JAC 12th Admit Cards from January 17, 2026.
Practical Exams: Internal assessment and practical tests for both classes are scheduled from February 24 to March 7, 2026, at the students' respective schools.
Expected Result Date: The evaluation process is set for March, with the JAC 10th and 12th Results 2026 likely to be declared by the end of April 2026.
The Jharkhand Academic Council has issued an advisory regarding practical exams. Students who are absent for the practical examination will be considered absent for the entire board exam and will not be eligible to receive their mark sheets.
Schools have been mandated to upload the marks for practical tests and internal assessments online within the stipulated period (February 25 to March 9). The council will not accept any offline submissions or marks uploaded after the deadline. The responsibility for any delay affecting a student's result will lie solely with the principal of the concerned school or college.
