The Uttar Pradesh government has announced the results for the National Means-cum Merit Scholarship Scheme (NMMS) 2024-2025 on the official website.

Candidates can check the district-wise merit list on the official website of The Exam Regulatory Authority Uttar Pradesh, Prayagraj, entdata.co.in.

After clicking on the respective district, candidates can look for their names. The result contains serial number, roll number, name of candidates, name of candidates’ father, date of birth, sex, marks obtained and overall ranking.

The Central Sector Scheme ‘National Means-cum-Merit Scholarship Scheme’ was launched in 2008 to award scholarships to meritorious students of economically weaker sections to arrest their drop out at class 8 and encourage them to continue their education at secondary stage.

1 lakh fresh scholarships are awarded to selected students of class 9 every year and their continuation / renewal in classes 10 to 12 for study in State Government, Government-aided and Local body schools under the scheme. The amount of scholarship is Rs 12,000 per annum from 1st April 2017 (earlier it was Rs 6,000 per annum).

Each State/UT conducts its own test for selection of students for the award of the National Means-cum-Merit Scholarship. The test is conducted at stage of class-8. The students, who fulfill the eligibility criteria, must pass both the tests, i.e., Mental Ability Test (MAT) and Scholastic Aptitude Test (SAT) under NMMSS exam with at least 40 percent marks in aggregate taken together for these two tests. For the SC/ST students, this cut off is 32 percent marks.

1) Head over to the official website that hosts the NMMS UP Merit List.

2) Locate ‘National Means-cum Merit Scholarship Scheme (NMMS) 2024-2025’ written in Hindi.

3) Choose your district.

4) Go through the merit list.

5) Download the merit list.
