JNU PhD Admissions 2025 Begins: Register at jnuee.jnu.ac.in by July 7

The application process for PhD admissions at Jawaharlal Nehru University (JNU) for the academic year 2025-26 is now open. Interested candidates can register online at jnuee.jnu.ac.in and must complete their applications by 7 July 2025.

Applicants will also get a chance to make corrections to their submitted application forms between 8 and 9 July 2025.

Who Can Apply?

To be eligible for the PhD programmes at JNU, candidates must have one of the following:

• A Master’s degree (1- or 2-year) with at least 55% marks,
• An M.Phil degree with 55% marks, or
• A 4-year Bachelor’s degree with 75% marks (or 70% for candidates from SC, ST, OBC, PWD, or EWS categories)
• Candidates with foreign degrees must ensure their qualification is recognised by an authorised agency in India.
