YEAR                       EVENTS
 1963 - The Company was incorporated on 29th July.  The main object
 of
        the company is to Manufacture and deal in oxygen, dissolved
        acetylene, nitrogen, argon, hydrogen, carbonic acid, medical
        gases, fuel gases and all other gases.
 
 1964 - 10,000 shares subcribed for in cash by the directors their
        friends and associated 12,500 shares offered for public
        subscription in August.
 
 1985 - The Operations were adversely affected due to power cuts in
 the
        Kerala and Karnataka states.
 
 1988 - The Operations were adversely affected due to continued high
 cost 
        of inputs, increased purchase prices of gases and power cuts.
 
 2008
 
 - Southern Gas Ltd has appointed Mr. Gautam V Pai Cacode as
 additional Director of Company and in accordance with Section 260 of
 Company Act 1956 he will hold office until next Annual General
 Meeting of the Company.
 
 2012
 -The Board of Directors of the Company has recommended a dividend of
 Rs. 30/- per share @ 30% of the fore value of Rs. 100/- per share.
 
 2014
 -The Board of Directors of the Company has recommended a dividend of
 Rs. 30/- per share @ 30% of the fore value of Rs. 100/- per share. 
 
 2015
 -Southern Gas Ltd has recommended a dividend of Rs. 30/- per share @
 30% of the face value of Rs. 100/- per share on the equity capital.
