Sarda Fashions Limited was incorporated on 14th June 1994 and has been
 registered with Registrar of Companies, Maharashtra, Bombay. The
 Company obtained the Certificate of Commencement of Business on 17th
 June 1994. The Company has been established with the main object of
 setting up facilities for manufacture of Readymade Garments and
 Cloth. The project is expected to commence commercial production,
 barring unforeseen circumstances in March 1995.
 
 MAIN OBJECTS OF THE COMPANY:
 
 The main objects of the Company are stated in the Memorandum of
 Association of the Company and inter alia include the following:
 
      - To carry on the business of manufacturing, processing,
 spinning,
        weaving, dubbling, dyeing, twisting, bleaching, sanforising,
        calendering, mercerising, texturising, crimping, knitting,
        printing, tailoring or otherwise to import, export, buy,
 sell,
        deal in textiles, yarn or fabrics, clothes, cotton, woolen,
        synthetics, silk, synthetic blends both with natural and
 manmade
        fibres, polyesters, or any other synthetics fibre including
        running of a manufacturing unit either unitary or composite
        textile mills, handlooms or powerlooms.
 
 1996-97:
 The company entered into an agreement with Arvind Mills Ltd. for
 manufacture and marketing of readymade garments under the brand name
 'Ruf & Tuf'. The company obtained ISO 9002 certification from TUV,
 Germany.
