 EVENTS
 2000 - The Union has declared a strike at the company's factory
 situated at Village
              Savroli, Taluka Khalapur, Khopoli, Dist. Raigad,
 Maharashtra.
 
            - The Company's major foray into the business of
 biotechnology based products 
               it was proposed to change the name of the Company from
 Kopran Drugs Limited 
               to KDL Biotech Limited for which necessary approval has
 been received from 
               Registrar of Companies, Maharashtra, Mumbai.
 
            - The Company is a major producer of Semi-synthetic
 Penicillins (SSP) and the Enzyme 
               for converting Penicillin-G to 6APA.  
 
            - 71,50,110 Equity Shares of Rs.10/- each were allotted as
 fully paid-up as per the Scheme 
               of Arrangement (01-01-1998) to the Shareholders of
 Kopran Limited.
 
            - 57,20,000 12% Optionally Convertible Cummulative
 Preference Shares of Rs.100/- each 
               were alloted as fully paid up as per the Scheme of
 Arrangement (01-01-1998) to Kopran               Limited.
  
 2001 - Crisil has downgraded the company's NCDs issue to `BB+' from
 `BBB'.
 
 2002 - Mr. Nalin Bamzal and Mr. Vijay Bhatia have been appointed as
 Additional Directors on                          the Board.
 
 2003
 
 -The following directors have resigned from the Board of the company:
 1. Mr. S J Parekh 2. Mr. Surendra Somani 3. Mr. C L Jain 4. Mr. Vijay
 Bhatia 5. Mr. Sen Hong Fang. Further, the following persons have been
 appointed as Additional Directors on the Board. 1. Mr. Raman Sharma.
 2. Mr. Hardeep Sachdeva. The company has received their consent to
 act as Directors.
 
 2004
 
 -KDL Biotech Ltd has informed that Dr. Adil P. Dehnugara's
 resignation from the office of Managing Director has been accepted by
 the Board at its meeting held on January 30, 2004. He shall vacate the
 office of Managing Director on the close of business hours of February
 29, 2004. However, he will continue to be a Director of the Company.
 
 2007
 - Kdl Biotech Limited has appointed Mr. Dr. Rajesh Agrawal as
 additional director on the board with effect from 26th April, 2007.
 
 2009
 -Company has created Email Id for registering the Complaints by the
 investors n_das@kdlbiotech.in.
