Company History - Gujarat Oils and Industries

The  Company was incorporated on 21st June 1984 in  joint  sector 
 with  Gujarat  Industrial Investment Corporation Ltd.   The  main 
 promoter of the company is Mr. Harish Shah.
 
 At  present the company is engaged in re-refining of  lubricating 
 oil  to manufacture and blend various types of lubricating  oils.  
 The company's products are marketed under the brand name `PUREOL'.  
 The Company also proposes to manufacture solid fuel Briquettes 
 out of the waste materials & oil sludge.
 
 The Company has entered into a technical collaboration with Bernd 
 Meinken of West Germany.
