Company History - Assam Petrochemicals

1971 - The company was incorporated on 22nd April. Assam Industrial
 Development Corporation Ltd. (AIDC) promoted the company for
 manufacture of Methanol from natural gas.
  
 2003 - The company had recommended 7.5% interim dividend.
 
 2004 - The company on 28th June had approved the sale of old plants.
 
 - The company had planed for public issue to fund methanol expansion
 plan.
 
 2005
 -Company has recommended an equity dividend @10% .
 
 2007 - Shri. Rameswar Dhanowar and Dr. M N Borgohain, were
 reappointed as directors of the company.
 
 2008
 -Company has created email id for grievance redressal division /
 compliance officer: aplguw@bsnl.in.
 
 2010
 -Company has Appointed Mr. Ratul Bordoloi is appointed as the
 Managing Director.
 
 2013
 -Assam Petrochemicals Ltd has recommended dividend @ 10% i.e. Re. 1/-
 (Rupee One Only) per equity shares of Rs. 10 each.
 
 2014
 -Assam Petrochemicals Ltd has recommended dividend @ 12.5% on the
 paid up share capital of the Company, i.e. Rs. 1.25/- per equity
 share
