Rajasthan doctor assault caught on cam: Mob thrashes on-duty doctor at hospital after woman's death

Victim Babita, who hailed from Indauli Basai Nawab Sampu, gave birth to a child at the hospital on January 20 and was later discharged. However, she was brought back to hospital by her relatives after her health suddenly started deteriorating on the same evening at her home.

A private hospital at Dholpur in Rajasthan witnessed an assault on a doctor on Saturday after the death of a 27-year-old woman due to alleged medical negligence.

Victim Babita, who hailed from Indauli Basai Nawab Sampu, gave birth to a child at the hospital on January 20 and was later discharged. However, she was brought back to the hospital by her relatives after her health suddenly started deteriorating on the same evening at her home.

According to News18, the woman died during treatment, which was followed by a dispute that soon escalated into a violent clash. Angry relatives assaulted the doctor who was treating her, a video of which has gone viral. The video shows at least 10 people punching and assaulting the doctor.

Police received a call from the hospital regarding a dispute and arrested at least six persons.
