Domestic help sprinkles urine on kitchen utensils in UP, arrested after video goes viral

A video of the incident, secretly recorded by a family member, recently went viral on social media.

A house help, employed at a businessman’s house in Uttar Pradesh's Bijnor for nearly a decade, was arrested after she was allegedly caught urinating in a glass and sprinkling the same on utensils used by the family, News18 reported.

The accused was identified as Samantra. A video of the incident, secretly recorded by a family member, recently went viral on social media.

As per the report, the businessman, in his complaint, told police that the woman had been working in his household for almost ten years and was considered trustworthy. However, suspicions arose after a family member noticed her unusual behaviour and decided to monitor her discreetly.

In a shocking CCTV footage from the Kitchen of the house of Businessman Satyam Mittal from Bijnor in UP, it was revealed that their 55 years old maid Samanna was urinating in the kitchen.

Following the complaint,the Nagina police detained the woman and booked her under sections related to disturbing public peace. As per the report, she was produced in court and is now facing judicial proceedings.

The case has triggered heated debate in the area, with many locals describing the incident as “disgusting" and “unforgivable". Some have speculated that the woman may be suffering from a mental health condition, while others believe her actions were deliberate and malicious, the report added.

Residents were quoted by News18 as saying that such behaviour, especially from someone employed for years in the same household, is both “shameful and deeply unsettling".
