Tata Motors Passenger Vehicles has introduced the Sierra 2025 as a premium mid-size SUV, and buyers looking for a more rugged appearance can opt for the ROQ edition accessory package. The add-on kit is priced at Rs 50,000.
Tata has announced only the entry-level price (Rs 11.49 lakh, ex-showroom) for now, with the full price list scheduled for next month. Bookings for the Sierra 2025 open on December 16, and customer deliveries begin on January 15, 2026.
The ROQ package focusses on exterior enhancements. It adds cladding across the bumper, bonnet, front fenders and wheel arches. The SUV gets graphics on the B and C-pillars, black vinyl on the rear door and fender area, and prominent 'SIERRA' lettering on the grille and tailgate. A tow hook is included as part of the kit. In case you want to open the boot and occupy the space, the ROQ edition offers two soft cushions with integrated cup holders.
The Sierra 2025 will be available in seven variants -- Smart+, Pure, Pure+, Adventure, Adventure+, Accomplished and Accomplished+. Smart+ is the entry variant, while Accomplished+ sits at the top of the range.
The powertrain mix spans three engine options. A new 1.5-litre Hyperion T-GDi petrol delivers 160PS and 255Nm and is paired with a 6-speed torque-converter automatic. A 1.5-litre Revotron naturally aspirated petrol produces 106PS and 145Nm, with 6-speed manual and 7-speed DCA choices. The 1.5-litre Kryojet diesel makes 118PS and 260/280Nm, and is offered with 6-speed manual and 6-speed torque-converter automatic options. The SUV features Sport and Normal drive modes, along with terrain modes including Normal, Wet, and Rough.
The Sierra will be sold in six colours -- Pristine White, Pure Grey, Coorg Cloud, Munnar Mist, Bengal Rouge and Andaman Adventure.
