Once launched, it will be pitted against Harley-Davidson X440, Triumph Speed 400, Bajaj Pulsar NS400Z and Hero Mavrick 440.
The Guerrilla 450 is based on the Sherpa platform, which also underpins the Himalayan 450. The premium roadster is equipped with the 452cc single-cylinder, liquid-cooled, four-valve engine, which develops 40 PS of maximum power at 8,000 rpm and 40NM of peak torque at 5,500 rpm.
“The Guerrilla 450 is our take on modern roasters, and we are super happy with how it has turned out. It is built on the same platform as the Himalayan, but tuned to roadster performance that makes it feel excitingly different when you ride it,” said Siddhartha Lal, managing director, Eicher Motors Ltd, the parent of Royal Enfield.
