Nissan India is gearing up to launch the Magnite Kuro edition, which has been teased on multiple occasions. This special edition model will be based on one of the top-spec trims of the sub-4 metre compact SUV.
The Kuro edition was available with the pre-facelifted Magnite as well. The Kuro edition is an all-black edition, introduced to add more sportiness to the lineup.
The Kuro edition will use black elements on the exterior and inside the cabin. The exterior will have black treatment on the grille, skid plates, roof rails, alloy wheels, ORVMs, headlamp surrounds, door handles, and badges.
Inside, the Kuro edition will have black seat upholstery, black dashboard inserts, and black floor mats. The variant will include an armrest with rear AC vents, wireless phone charging, a 360-degree surround-view camera, and ambient lighting.
The Kuro edition is expected to get both engine options available with the standard Magnite. These include 1.0-litre naturally aspirated petrol (72PS and 96Nm) and 1.0-litre turbo-petrol (100PS and 160Nm). The transmission options will include 5-speed MT and AMT with the naturally aspirated unit, and 5-speed MT and CVT with the turbo-petrol unit.
Among the safety equipment of the Magnite Kuro edition will be six airbags, electronic stability control, traction control, hill start assist, tyre pressure monitoring system, ABS with EBD, and rear parking sensors.
While the standard Magnite is currently priced between Rs 6.14 lakh and Rs 11.92 lakh (ex-showroom), the Magnite Kuro edition is expected to be priced slightly higher with all the fresh updates.
