The sub-4 metre compact SUV is manufactured at the company's Alliance Chennai plant and is exported to over 65 countries under Nissan Motor India's 'One Car, One World' strategy for right-hand-drive (RHD) and left-hand-drive (LHD) markets.
The RHD Magnite, which is sold in both India and South Africa, garnered five stars in adult occupant protection (AOP) category and three stars in child occupant protection (COP) category.
The vehicle scored 32.31 points out of 34 in the AOP category and 33.64 points out of 49 in the COP category. The bodyshell integrity of the vehicle was judged as stable.
