Renault will launch the updated seven-seater Triber on July 23.

Renault, which has been struggling with low volumes in the domestic market, will reportedly launch the updated 2025 Triber seven-seater on July 23. Including the Triber MPV, the French brand offers three models, the other two being the Kwid hatchback and the Kiger SUV.

From 78,926 units in FY23, Renault's domestic sales declined to 45,439 units in FY24. A further drop to 37,900 units was witnessed in FY25.

The 2025 Renault Triber is expected to get updated exteriors and interiors. On the outside, a new front fascia with redesigned headlamps is expected. There might be changes to the taillamps as well. We also expect Renault to provide fresh bumpers and a new set of alloy wheels.

Inside the cabin, we expect the 2025 Triber to be equipped with a new infotainment system and instrument cluster. Some tweaks to the dashboard are also expected. It remains to be seen what new bells and whistles are added to improve the value-for-money quotient of the vehicle.

So far as safety features are concerned, the Triber only gets two airbags as standard. Renault might provide six airbags as standard in the new Triber. That said, the car already has an electronic stability control (ESC), an anti-lock braking system (ABS) with electronic brakeforce distribution (EBD), a hill start assist, a traction control system and a tyre pressure monitoring system, among others, as standard.

At the heart of the Triber is a 1.0-litre naturally-aspirated petrol engine, which delivers 72 PS of maximum power and 96 Nm of peak twisting force. The engine can be clubbed either with a 5-speed MT or a 5-speed AMT. Besides, Renault also provides the option for a government-approved CNG kit, which can be retrofitted across manual transmission variants.

In addition to the 1.0-litre naturally-aspirated petrol unit, the 2025 Triber is expected to get the 1.0-litre turbo petrol engine (100 PS/160 Nm) from the Kiger. This will attract additional buyers looking for more power and torque.

While the current Triber is priced between Rs 6,14,995 and Rs 8,97,995 (ex-showroom), the price of the new Triber is expected to move north.
