Mahindra & Mahindra Ltd. (M&M) has unveiled the name of its next all-electric SUV—the XEV 9S. The upcoming 7-seater model will be based on the company’s INGLO platform, which underpins Mahindra’s new generation of electric vehicles.
"Unlike earlier models adapted from internal combustion platforms, the XEV 9S is a purpose-built electric SUV," the auto major said in a statement. "The skateboard-style INGLO architecture allows a flat floor, providing more cabin space and flexible seating configurations, including sliding second-row seats," the statement further added. The low centre of gravity is expected to improve ride comfort and stability.
Mahindra will showcase the XEV 9S in full at its ‘Scream Electric’ event in Bengaluru on November 27, 2025, marking one year of its all-electric lineup under the INGLO brand.
