JSW MG Motor India has officially launched the Windsor EV, an electric Crossover Utility Vehicle (e-CUV), marking the first vehicle to be introduced under the partnership between JSW and MG Motor.
The battery-powered Windsor EV is available at a starting price of Rs 9.99 lakh (ex-showroom, introductory). However, the prices exclude the cost of the battery of this vehicle. Additionally, customers will incur a cost of Rs 3.50 per km for the battery rental module.
Bookings for the Windsor EV open today, with test drives set to begin on September 25, 2024. Deliveries are expected to commence in October. Positioned between the affordable Comet EV and the ZS EV, the Windsor EV is touted as India's first intelligent CUV, with an unconventional design and a range of advanced features.
Parth Jindal, expressed optimism that the Windsor EV would soon become a popular choice among Indian consumers, earning the title of "Bharat's car."
