JSW MG Motor India will inaugurate Delhi's first MG Select dealership on July 18. The carmaker will sell its upcoming electric models like the M9 MPV and the Cyberster roadster via the premium outlets.
In the first phase, there will be 14 MG Select dealerships across 13 cities -- Gurgaon, Delhi, Chandigarh, Mumbai, Pune, Thane, Ahmedabad, Surat, Kolkata, Hyderabad, Bengaluru, Chennai and Kochi.
Moneycontrol reported earlier this month that JSW MG is looking to expand the MG Select network depending on the kind of demand the two new models garner.
The company will first announce the price of the M9, followed by that of the Cyberster. While M9 will be assembled in India using the completely knocked-down (CKD) kit, the Cyberster will be a completely built-up (CBU) model.
The MG M9 employs a 245 PS/350 Nm motor that draws power from a 90 kWh battery. The Cyberster's 77 kWh battery is mated to a 510 PS/725 Nm motor.
Speaking of range, JSW MG is targeting over 500 km on a single full charge for the M9, and between 400 km and 500 km for the Cyberster.
The carmaker currently offers electric models like the ZS EV, Comet EV and Windsor EV.
