2025 Renault Kiger facelift
Renault India has launched the new Kiger compact SUV with more than 35 enhancements across design, features and safety. The update focuses on refreshed styling, premium interiors, advanced technology and improved protection.
Design changes
On the exterior, the Kiger now sports a redesigned front grille with Renault's new logo, a sculpted hood, new bumpers, updated LED headlamps, tail lamps, fog lamps, and 16-inch diamond-cut alloy wheels. Distinctive TURBO badging and fresh body decals further differentiate the variants. Two new colour options, Oasis Yellow and Shadow Grey, have been added, alongside existing five shades.
Interior enhancements
The cabin features a new dual-tone dashboard, premium ventilated leatherette seats, and revised upholstery. Stitch detailing on the gear knob, armrest, and steering wheel has been upgraded. Improved noise insulation, a quieter cabin, enhanced cooling efficiency, and a rear armrest with cupholders have also been introduced.
Technology additions
The latest update brings in a multi-view camera offering multiple perspectives for easier manoeuvring, particularly in tight city spaces. Automatic headlamps and rain-sensing wipers are new inclusions, along with the 'Belongings Take Away' alert system. The 8-inch infotainment touchscreen now integrates wireless Android Auto and Apple CarPlay, paired with an upgraded 3D Arkamys surround sound system.
Safety improvements
Renault has expanded safety equipment with six airbags, including side and curtain units, now offered across the range. The Kiger comes with 21 standard safety features such as electronic stability control, traction control, hill start assist, ISOFIX mounts, tyre pressure monitoring, and pedestrian protection.
No change in powertrains
The Kiger continues with two petrol engine options. The 1.0-litre turbocharged engine delivers 100PS and 160Nm torque, and can be paired with a 5-speed MT or X-Tronic CVT. The 1.0-litre naturally aspirated engine produces 72PS and 96Nm, with transmission options like 5-speed MT and AMT.
Price
While the turbo variants (Techno and Emotion) are priced between Rs 10 lakh and Rs 11.30 lakh, the naturally aspirated variants (Authentic, Evolution, Techno and Emotion) sit in the price bracket of Rs 6.30 lakh to Rs 9.15 lakh. All prices are introductory and ex-showroom. The pre-facelift model was priced between Rs 6.15 lakh to Rs 11.23 lakh (ex-showroom).
