It has been proved centuries ago that earth is indeed spherical and certainly not flat. However, there is no dearth of non-believers, especially in science.

Now, US-based rapper Bobby Ray Simmons Jr, more popularly known as B.o.B, is crowd-funding a project to find out if the earth is actually spherical. The plan is to launch satellites in order to check that.

As of writing this, he has already raised USD 3,192 in six days from 129 people. He seeks to raise total USD 1 million for the purpose.

The rapper has been a vocal proponent of the Flat Earth Theory which believes that earth is actually a disc, not a sphere.

So why don’t people or a boat falls off the edges? The believers of Flat Earth Theory have a very peculiar answer to that — because NASA employees guard the edge of the world.

The fundraiser titled ‘Show BoB The Curve’ reads: "What's up guys! Help support B.o.B purchase and launch multiple weather balloons and satellites into space, for experimental exploration."

“He's donated USD 1,000 to the cause to get it going, and will be keeping you updated with step-by-step documentation of the process! Help B.o.B find the curve!”

The adherents of Flat Earth Theory constantly refute the spherical earth theory by asking for the proof of curve which should be visible on earth.

A video posted on his Twitter page and as a GoFundMe post says, “I'm starting this GoFundMe because I would like to send one, if not multiple satellites, as far into space as I can, or into orbit as I can, to find the curve."

"I'm looking for the curve," he added.
