YouTube for iOS update brings along live video streaming

YouTube for iOS has received a great new update thanks to which you will now be able to access live streams on your device and also be able to queue videos for playback on your TV sets. The live stream is by far the most important feature that has been added to the iOS version of the video streaming app. YouTube 1.3 for iOS will allow you to watch concerts, sporting events and other live events on your iPhones, iPod Touch and iPads now, without the need to switch your PC on. You will now be able to stream that IPL match live on your iPhone when you don’t have access to a TV.Earlier, YouTube had added the option to let you “send to TV” which will let you watch content from YouTube on a bigger screen. With this update, you can now queue videos specifically for playback on the TV screen. Just sit back, queue your favourite videos and keep watching them without the need to keep adding new ones.
