After a day of consolidation, the market gained momentum with the Nifty50 closing above psychological 20,000 milestone for the first time on September 13. This was largely attributed to the rally in banking stocks. Hence, the bulls seem to be wanting to stay in the game, which can take the Nifty50 to 20,200-20,500 levels in coming days if the index holds 19,900-19,800 as an immediate support area, experts said. The Nifty Midcap 100 index gained 0.2 percent and Smallcap 100 index rose 1 percent as the market breadth was positive with 2:1 ratio.
