Former Bangladesh Prime Minister and Awami League President Sheikh Hasina, who is currently residing in Delhi after fleeing her country, has condemned the November 10 Red Fort blast that claimed eight lives and injured more than 20 people.
In her statement, the former Bangladesh Prime Minister said that the appalling terrorist attack in New Delhi is unacceptable under any circumstances. “There is no place for extremist terrorism in the modern world. These extremist terrorist groups strike at the very foundations of a secular, humane, and welfare-oriented state," she added.
She also stated that terrorist groups rooted in Pakistan have expanded their networks across several countries, including Bangladesh, and are carrying out attacks in India to destabilise regional peace and security.
