Days after their massive public fallout, tech billionaire Elon Musk on Wednesday said that he "regrets" some of his posts against US President Donald Trump.
In a late night post on X, Musk admitted that some of his remarks against Trump "went too far".
"I regret some of my posts about President @realDonaldTrump last week. They went too far," Musk said, signalling a patchup with Trump, whom he helped elect to the White House.

The growing feud between Trump and Musk spilled onto social media last week when the SpaceX chief launched a bitter tirade against a contentious tax bill. Musk described the sweeping policy package a “mountain of disgusting pork.”
President Trump then said he was "very disappointed in Elon," claiming that Musk was fully aware of "every aspect of the bill" and had no objections to it until after leaving his government role.
The Tesla CEO, who heads the Department of Government Efficiency (DOGE) under the Trump administration, called President's claims "false", adding that the bill was never shown to him even once and was "passed in the dead of night so fast that almost no one in Congress could even read it!"
He also said that Trump would not have been elected without his support."Without me, Trump would have lost the election, Dems would control the House and the Republicans would be 51-49 in the Senate," he posted on his X account. "Such ingratitude."
He also posted a poll on X, asking users whether it was time to launch a new political party in the United States.
The feud escalated tremendously when Musk said that Trump's name featured in the Jeffrey Epstein files.
"Time to drop the really big bomb:@realDonaldTrump is in the Epstein files. That is the real reason they have not been made public.Have a nice day, DJT," he said.
The Jeffrey Epstein court documents revealed names of high-profile individuals, including politicians, celebrities and business leaders, linked to the disgraced financier through social connections, flight logs or legal testimony, though not all are accused of wrongdoing.
Musk has since deleted the incendiary posts against Trump.
