United States President Donald Trump reiterated his claim that America had halted seven wars in the past seven months, after previously stating he had resolved “three wars,” including the long-running conflict between Russia and Ukraine.
“Nobody has done what we did in 7 months. We stopped 7 wars. Russia-Ukraine, which I thought would probably be the easiest, was the most difficult… One of the wars was going on for 31 years—that was said to be unstoppable, and I got it done in about 2 hours; another one was on for 35 years, and another one for 37 years," Trump said on Friday.

India has consistently dismissed this, with Prime Minister Narendra Modi telling Parliament that “no world leader asked India to stop Operation Sindoor.”
