Iran's Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps (IRGC) announced on Tuesday that it had carried out a strike on key Israeli intelligence sites in Tel Aviv, as tensions between the two countries continue to escalate.

In a statement broadcast on Iranian state television, the IRGC claimed responsibility for hitting the Israeli military's intelligence hub, Aman, as well as a Mossad facility reportedly involved in planning covert operations. The statement added that the targeted Mossad center was "currently ablaze" following the attack.
The attacks on Mossad compound comes hours after the Israeli military announced that it had eliminated senior Iranian commander Ali Shamdani in an overnight airstrike on a command center located in central Tehran. Shamdani had assumed the role just four days earlier, following the death of his predecessor, Golam Ali Rashid, in a previous Israeli strike.
In addition to the Tehran operation, Israel reported targeting several missile and drone sites in western Iran, including infrastructure, launch platforms, and storage depots. Released black-and-white footage captured the moment some of these targets were hit and destroyed.
Despite growing international appeals for restraint, both Iran and Israel have continued their exchange of missile attacks since Friday, when Israel launched a sweeping aerial offensive against Iranian military and nuclear sites.
