Former US President Bill Clinton wrote a letter to disgraced financier and convicted sex offender Jeffrey Epstein’s 50th birthday in 2003, according to the new report from the Wall Street Journal.
Earlier, the Journal claimed that it had letter from US President Donald Trump along with Wall Street billionaire Leon Black, fashion designer Vera Wang and media owner Mort Zuckerman, who ended up with letters in the 2003 book, according to documents reviewed by The Wall Street Journal.
The new report has surfaced following earlier claims that Donald Trump was notified about being named in the Jeffrey Epstein case files.
A leather-bound book, reportedly curated by Jeffrey Epstein’s former associate Ghislaine Maxwell, contains a handwritten birthday note from Bill Clinton that highlights Epstein’s “childlike curiosity” and enduring friendships.
The volume, compiled before Epstein’s 2006 arrest, includes a page featuring Clinton’s recognizable handwriting with a brief message:
“It’s reassuring, isn’t it, to have lasted as long, across all the years of learning and knowing, adventures and [illegible word], and also to have your childlike curiosity, the drive to make a difference and the solace of friends,” the note reads.
In 2019, a spokesperson for former US President Bill Clinton confirmed that he had taken four flights on Jeffrey Epstein’s private jet and visited Epstein’s Manhattan townhouse on one occasion, all reportedly in connection with Clinton Foundation-related activities and accompanied by Secret Service personnel.
Clinton was also seen in photographs with Epstein and Ghislaine Maxwell during a White House event in 1993 and maintained social contact with Epstein into the early 2000s.
According to The Wall Street Journal, a controversial painting was displayed inside Epstein’s New York residence, showing Clinton in a blue dress and red heels—something reportedly witnessed by multiple visitors.
