Saras Aajeevika Mela 2025 has officially commenced at Noida Haat, Sector 33A, Noida, bringing together the vibrant art, craft, and culinary heritage of rural India. Running from February 21 to March 10, 2025, the event aims to empower Self Help Group (SHG) women entrepreneurs, showcase their exceptional craftsmanship, and boost the export potential of rural artisans.

Organized for the 5th time by the Ministry of Rural Development, in collaboration with the National Institute of Rural Development and Panchayati Raj (NIRDPR), Saras Aajeevika Mela 2025 focuses on the theme "Developing Export Potential of Lakhpati SHG Didis." This initiative aligns with the Government’s vision of ‘Vocal for Local’ and ‘Viksit Bharat by 2047’, fostering economic self-reliance among rural women.

Food lovers are in for a treat, with 25 live food stalls from 20 states serving authentic and traditional delicacies. Some of the must-try items include:

  • Bihar’s Litti Chokha
  • Maharashtra’s Puran Poli
  • Punjabi Sarson da Saag & Makki di Roti
