Bangkok is commonly considered to be a vibrant capital city with temples, street food and a busy nightlife. You can find beaches, history, natural escapes, or a combination of all these in these five attractions close to Bangkok that will make great memories.

Pattaya
Pattaya is also one of the most popular beach resorts in Thailand. The city is a notoriously golden shores and high-energy nightlife destination, but there is more to it. Theme parks, cultural performances, and the Sanctuary of Truth, a giant wooden sea temple, are some of the places that can be visited by the family.

Chonburi
The Nong Nooch tropical garden includes themed landscapes and cultural performances and is a highlight. One of the most valued natural places in Thailand is the Khao Yai National Park, which is about three hours away from Bangkok. It is a UNESCO World Heritage site that hosts elephants, hornbills, waterfalls and tropical jungles.
