Defence Minister Rajnath Singh expressed confidence that the defence personnel will transform the challenges into opportunities with courage.

He noted that while both nations attained independence at the same time, India has built a robust economy through sound policies and foresight, whereas Pakistan remains mired in stagnation due to its own failures.

The minister stressed that the government’s priority is to empower Indian private players to compete with global defence giants, noting that 'when you make in India, you make for the world.'

These groups have been set up after Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s Independence Day address where he pressed on the need for next-generation reforms and announced the setting up of a task force.

Addressing the gathering, Rajnath Singh called initiatives like BRAHMA critical in building the industrial and technological base needed for both national security and economic growth.
