Zerodha and Groww have confirmed that their platforms are fully operational again after a brief Cloudflare outage affected access for thousands of users. The disruption impacted login sessions, order execution and overall accessibility, as Cloudflare — a key internet infrastructure provider — experienced an issue that rippled across multiple online services worldwide.
What happened
Cloudflare reported that its Dashboard and related APIs were affected starting at 08:56 UTC (2:26pm IST). The interruption lasted for around 12 minutes before a fix was deployed at 09:12 UTC (2:42pm IST). The outage triggered intermittent failures for services dependent on Cloudflare’s network, including stockbroking and trading platforms.
Cloudflare status
Groww acknowledged that certain parts of its app and website were inaccessible during the disruption. The platform later confirmed that all systems had stabilised.
Zerodha reported similar issues on its Kite platform, with users unable to log in or execute trades for a short duration. The company clarified that the interruption originated from Cloudflare’s global outage and not its own infrastructure.
Platforms back online
Zerodha said that Kite is functioning without issues and added that it will continue monitoring performance throughout the trading day to ensure stable operations.
