Users globally, including in the US, India, the UK, Australia, and Canada, reported issues accessing the platform on both web and mobile apps.
Global outage impact
According to Downdetector, the outage spiked again around 7:00 PM IST, marking the second major disruption of the day. Reports indicate that 56% of affected users faced problems with the app, 33% experienced issues with the website, and 11% encountered server connection errors.
Previous outage and ongoing issues
Earlier in the day, X suffered a similar outage at around 3:20 PM IST, with over 19,000 reports globally and 2600 reports in India. The second disruption follows a pattern of intermittent service failures.
No acknowledgement from the company
X has not issued an official statement regarding the cause of these outages. Users continue to report problems, though some regions have seen partial restoration of services.
