WhatsApp stickers are a fun way for the app’s users to express themselves in conversations. Previously, Meta had introduced Custom Sticker Maker to Android and iOS users, which allows users to create personalised stickers from their own photos or modify existing images. These custom stickers can be currently added to an unorganised section on WhatsApp called ‘Favourites.’
Now, according to a new report by WhatsApp feature tracker WABetaInfo, with the latest WhatsApp beta Android 2.24.22.13 update, users will be able to create and share custom sticker packs directly within the app interface. Hence, WhatsApp users can create their own sticker packs directly within the app without the need to rely on third-party apps.
The custom stickers feature will help you keep your stickers organized. After creating a sticker pack, you can also share it with friends or in group chats. Further, WABetaInfo revealed a screenshot of this feature that shows a new option called ‘Add to sticker pack’ on the pop-up section.
When this new option, a new ‘Create sticker pack’ dialogue Is also displayed with a text box that will allow WhatsApp users to create a name for their created stickers. After saving, the new sticker pack will appear under the sticker selection menu on WhatsApp. Additionally, users can share these stickers by tapping on the three-dot button to the right of the custom sticker pack and then selecting ‘Send.’
