Last year, Vivo unveiled Y300 and Y300 Pro smartphones in China, and the company later expanded the Y300 lineup with the Y300 Pro+ and Y300t smartphones recently. Now, Vivo is set to introduce the Y300GT in China next week. The brand has also revealed the design and key features of this smartphone, and it could be a rebranded version of the iQOO Z10 Turbo, which was launched earlier this week.

Vivo Y300GT: Launch date, expected features

Vivo has confirmed through a new Weibo post that the Vivo Y300 GT will launch in China on May 9 at 10 AM local time (7:30 AM IST). The smartphone is now available for pre-orders on Vivo China’s online store and popular Chinese retailer platforms. The company has also confirmed that the device would be powered by the Dimensity 8400 chip and will be backed by a large 7,620mAh battery with 80W charging support.

Further, the poster image also reveals that the Y300 GT will come in black and gold colour options. It also features a distinctive square-circular rear camera module with two camera sensors and a ring-like LED flash. Meanwhile, the power button and volume rocker are positioned on the right side of the smartphone.

Looking at the Y300GT’s specifications and design, the smartphone shares a lot of similarities with the recently launched iQOO Z10 Turbo. To recall, the Z10 Turbo features a 50MP Sony LYT-600 main sensor and a 2MP depth sensor alongside a 16MP front camera. Moreover, it has a 6.78-inch 1.5K AMOLED screen with 144Hz refresh rate support.
