After teasing the phone for several weeks, Vivo has finally launched its most powerful camera phone -- Vivo X200 Ultra -- in China. The phone's biggest highlight is on camera, and for the first time, the company has integrated a dual ISP and Qualcomm’s Snapdragon 8 Elite chipset. Not only this, the phone also comes with an additional photography kit, which includes an additional zoom lens for photography enthusiasts.
Vivo X200 Ultra featuresThe Vivo X200 Ultra features a 6.82-inch QHD+ LTPO AMOLED screen with a 120Hz refresh rate and peak brightness of 4,500 nits. It comes with 12GB or 16GB LPDDR5X RAM and UFS 4.1 storage options of 256GB, 512GB, or 1TB. The phone runs OriginOS based on Android 15. The global version or the one which is expected to come to India will run the company's FunTouch OS 15 based on Android 15.
It introduces two dedicated imaging chips: vivo V3+ ISP for image processing, and the new vivo VS1 platform, which handles exposure, focus, and image stacking. The camera setup includes a 50MP Sony LYT-818 main sensor, a 200MP Samsung ISOCELL HP9 periscope telephoto lens with 85mm equivalent focal length, and a 50MP ultra-wide camera using another Sony LYT-818 sensor.
The phone also supports 4K video at 120fps and Dolby Vision for 4K 60fps recording. A 50MP front camera is placed in a punch-hole cutout.
A special Photography Set includes a teleconverter lens with an additional 2.35x zoom, straps, case, grip with USB-C, and an external 2,300mAh battery pack.
The vivo X200 Ultra houses a 6,000mAh battery with 90W wired and 40W wireless charging support.

Prices start at CNY 6,499 (approximately Rs 74,738.5) for the 12GB+256GB version. The top-end 16GB+1TB model with satellite connectivity is priced at CNY 7,999. The Photography Set bundle is priced at CNY 9,699.
