Vivo V60 launching in India today: How to watch livestream, expected price and specs

Vivo is set to launch its new smartphone, the V60, in India today, August 12, at 12 pm IST. This is the successor to the Vivo V50, which came out earlier this year in February.

You can watch the launch event live on Vivo India’s YouTube channel and official social media pages. Once announced, the phone is expected to be available on Flipkart, Amazon, and Vivo’s online store.

The Vivo V60 will feature a Zeiss-branded triple rear camera system with AI tools to improve photo and video quality. The setup is expected to include:

–50MP Sony IMX766 main sensor with OIS

–50MP Sony IMX882 telephoto lens

–Ultra-wide camera

On the front, there will be a 50MP selfie camera inside a punch-hole cutout.

Performance and software

The phone will be powered by the Qualcomm Snapdragon 7 Gen 4 processor, which Vivo says offers 27% better CPU performance and 30% better graphics than the previous model. It will run Funtouch OS 15 based on Android 15.

Display and battery

The V60 is expected to have a 6.67-inch curved AMOLED display with 1.5K resolution and a 120Hz refresh rate. It will also come with a 6,500mAh battery, though charging speed details are still unknown.

While the exact price will be confirmed at the event, leaks suggest it will cost between Rs 37,000 and Rs 40,000. Colour options are likely to include Auspicious Gold, Mist Grey, and Moonlit Blue.

With its upgraded cameras, improved performance, and large battery, the Vivo V60 is aimed at users looking for a premium experience in the upper mid-range segment. The launch later today will reveal whether it matches the hype.
