Expanding its smartphone lineup, Vivo has announced its all-new V series phone – the V60 5G. The handset comes as the successor to the V50 which launched earlier this year. The smartphone comes packed with several upgrades over the predecessor such as new Snapdragon 7 Gen 4 chipset, updated Zeiss camera setup with more camera lens and so on. Vivo V60 5G: Price, availability and offersThe Vivo V60 is priced at Rs 36,999 for the 8GB + 128GB variant, Rs 38,999 for the 8GB + 256GB model, Rs 40,999 for the 12GB + 256GB configuration, and Rs 45,999 for the 16GB + 512GB version. Pre-bookings are open starting today at Vivo exclusive stores and partner retail outlets.
Sales will begin on August 19 through Vivo’s official website, Flipkart, Amazon, and partner retail stores across the country.
Launch offers include up to 10% instant bank discount or exchange bonus, up to six months no-cost EMI, one-year free extended warranty, and Vivo TWS 3e earbuds at Rs 1,499 as part of a bundle deal. Offline offers also include cashback on select bank cards, zero down payment EMI options, and discounted V-Shield coverage
Vivo V60 5G: FeaturesVivo V60, as already mentioned, is powered by the Snapdragon 7 Gen 4 processor paired with up to 12GB RAM and 256GB storage. In terms of display, the smartphone features a 6.67-inch Quad Curved AMOLED display with 1.5K resolution and 120Hz refresh rate. That’s not it, the company has also focused on the design and durability of the phone. The V60 comes with an all-new camera design – pill shaped – as opposed to the older cylindrical design. Moreover, it boasts a matte-finish design in three colour options –Auspicious Gold, Mist Grey, Moonlit Blue.
Vivo’s V60 emphasizes versatile photography with a Zeiss-collaborated triple rear camera tuned for clarity and colour accuracy. The phone packs a 50MP Sony sensor with OIS along with another updated 50MP 10x telephoto lens that claims to offer sharp and detailed output.
The phone also supports multifocal portrait modes, refined background separation and bokeh for a natural, cinematic look. An 8MP ultrawide is also onboard this time that adds to the versatility of the phones’ camera setup. There’s a 50MP front camera as well.
To make the camera more appealing to the users, Vivo has added a preset log for videos.
The phone runs FuntouchOS 15 based on Android 15, with Google Gemini features including Gemini Live, AI captioning, and AI smart call assistant.
Vivo V60 packs a 6500mAh battery and it supports 90W fast charging. Other features include dual speakers, in-display fingerprint scanner and more.
