Vivo has confirmed that the T5 Pro will launch in India on April 15 at 12 PM. The company is positioning the device around battery life and sustained performance, with a focus on reducing low-battery interruptions during daily use. The announcement highlights a 9020mAh battery and performance features aimed at gaming and multitasking scenarios.
The Vivo T5 Pro will feature a 9020mAh battery, which the company claims is among the largest in its segment. The device is also described as maintaining a slim profile at 0.825 cm despite the battery capacity.
According to the company, the phone can deliver up to 12.6 hours of gaming, 13 hours of live streaming, 12.9 hours of video recording, and 90 hours of music playback on a single charge.
For charging, the device will support 90W flash charging. It will also include a battery saver mode and a claimed five-year battery health cycle.
The smartphone will be powered by the Snapdragon 7s Gen 4 processor. Vivo states that the chipset delivers a score of around 1.2 million on AnTuTu benchmarks.
The device will support up to 120 FPS gaming in compatible titles. To manage heat, it includes a 7K VC cooling system, which the company says is designed to maintain performance during extended sessions.
The Vivo T5 Pro will feature a 1.5K AMOLED display with a 144Hz refresh rate. Higher refresh rates will be limited to supported apps and content.
The phone will run on OriginOS 6, which is designed to improve responsiveness and system-level optimisations across applications.
The T5 Pro is expected to target users looking for long battery life combined with gaming and multitasking capabilities. More details, including pricing and availability, are expected to be revealed at the launch event on April 15.
