Vivo T4 5G quick review: 8 things we noticed about the 'biggest' battery phone in India
Vivo T4 5G is the latest budget phone from Vivo with massive 7300mAh battery. Does it justifies its price. We've used it for a while and here's what we think.
Big battery, solid battery life The Vivo T4 5G’s headline feature is its massive 7300mAh battery—currently the largest in any mainstream Indian smartphone. Vivo pairs it with 90w FlashCharge support. In real-world usage, that’s a huge win for power users. The phone in our initial testing lasted for two days under moderate usage and lightweight users can expect it to last for three days easily.

Surprisingly sleek and good display The 6.77-inch quad-curved AMOLED screen delivers vibrant colours and fluid visuals with its 120Hz refresh rate. It also boasts 5000 nits of peak brightness, one of the highest in this category. The curved edges and slim profile make the device feel more premium than typical mid-range phones. It’s also IP65 rated for water and dust resistance. But, the phone’s overall thickness is surprisingly less considering it packs a massive 7300mAh battery.
3/7
Camera is acceptable too Vivo has equipped the T4 5G with a 50MP Sony IMX882 primary sensor with OIS, alongside a 2MP depth sensor. On the front, there’s a 32MP selfie camera. Both sides support 4K video at 30fps. Daylight photos are crisp, and AI enhancements like Photo Enhance improve results. Low-light photo quality is also acceptable.
4/7
Runs FunTouch OS 15 The T4 5G runs FunTouch OS 15 based on Android 15. Vivo includes features like AI Erase and Note Assist. The UI feels smoother than before, though occasional pre-installed apps may not appeal to everyone. Vivo promises two years of software updates and three years of security patches.
Build and durability The phone features military-grade build quality and is manufactured at Vivo’s Greater Noida facility under the ‘Make in India’ initiative. While the glass-finish back looks clean, it picks up smudges quickly.
6/7
Storage and variants It comes in three configurations: 8GB+128GB, 8GB+256GB, and 12GB+256GB. All variants support virtual RAM expansion, which helps with multitasking. Storage is UFS 2.2, not UFS 3.1, so file transfers are slower compared to some rivals.
7/7
What we think Starting at Rs 21,999, the Vivo T4 5G offers a strong value proposition for users who prioritise battery life, display quality, and day-to-day performance. Overall, for the asking price, the phone appears to be delivering just fine here. We will dig deeper into the performance and other aspects of the phone in our full review.
