Vivo has launched the Pad5e tablet in China alongside the new X300 smartphone lineup. The latest tablet brings several productivity-focused upgrades, including support for the Vivo Pencil 3 stylus and Smart Touch Keyboard 5, aimed at both professionals and students.

The Vivo Pad5e features a 12.1-inch 2.8K LCD screen with a 144Hz adaptive refresh rate and DC dimming for eye comfort. It offers cross-device connectivity with Windows and Mac PCs, allowing users to control desktops remotely and manage files directly from the tablet. Vivo has also integrated its Atom Notes app, enabling users to seamlessly sync and annotate course materials or documents between their phone and tablet.
Under the hood, the tablet is powered by Qualcomm’s Snapdragon 8s Gen 3 processor, paired with up to 16GB of LPDDR5X RAM and 512GB of UFS 4.1 storage. It runs Android 15 with OriginOS 5 for tablets. The Pad5e is equipped with an 8MP rear camera and a 5MP front sensor, along with quad speakers for an enhanced audio experience.
Powering the device is a 10,000mAh battery supporting 44W fast charging, promising extended use for work or entertainment. Connectivity options include Wi-Fi 6, Bluetooth 5.4, and USB-C.
Price and availability
The Vivo Pad5e starts at CNY 1,999 (around Rs 24,900) for the 8GB/128GB model and goes up to CNY 2,999 (around Rs 37,300) for the 16GB/512GB variant. Sales in China begin October 17, with no word yet on global or India availability.
