September 2025 is shaping up to be an exciting month for smartphone enthusiasts in India. With the festive season approaching, leading brands like Apple, Samsung, Motorola, OPPO, and Lava are gearing up to unveil their latest devices. From premium foldables and flagships to budget-friendly 5G options, here’s a roundup of the most anticipated smartphones launching this month.

Apple iPhone 17 Series

Apple will headline the month with its iPhone 17 series launch on September 9 at the “Awe Dropping” event. The lineup includes the iPhone 17, iPhone 17 Air (replacing the Plus), iPhone 17 Pro, and iPhone 17 Pro Max.

• The iPhone 17 Air stands out with its ultra-slim 5.5mm design, lightweight body, A19 Pro chipset, and Apple’s first global eSIM-only setup.

• The Pro models boast 6.3–6.9-inch OLED panels at 120Hz, redesigned camera islands, 12GB RAM + 256GB storage, and a new 48MP telephoto camera with up to 8X zoom on the Pro Max. They also support 8K video recording.

• Prices are expected to start at ₹80,000 for the base model, while the Pro Max may exceed Rs 1.5 lakh.

Samsung Galaxy S25 FE

Samsung will unveil the Galaxy S25 FE on September 4, alongside the Tab S11 series. The phone features a 6.7-inch AMOLED 120Hz display with 2,000 nits brightness, Exynos 2400 processor, and a triple rear camera setup (50MP + 12MP + 8MP). It also houses a 4,900 mAh battery with 45W wired charging, ships with Android 16, and promises 7 years of updates. The phone is expected to cost ₹60,000–65,000 in India.

OPPO F31 Series

OPPO is set to introduce the F31 series between September 12–14. The lineup includes the F31 5G (Dimensity 6300), F31 Pro 5G (Dimensity 7300), and F31 Pro+ 5G (Snapdragon 7 Gen 3). All three share a massive 7,000 mAh battery with 80W charging, though design changes remain minimal compared to the F29. Pricing will likely range between ₹20,000–35,000.

5. Other anticipated launches

• Samsung Galaxy F17 5G & M17 5G: Budget 5G phones with 6.7-inch AMOLED displays, 50MP cameras, and 5,000 mAh batteries, priced under ₹20,000.

• Lava Agni 4: Featuring Dimensity 8350, 1.5K AMOLED display, and a 7,000 mAh battery, expected around ₹25,000.

• Samsung Galaxy A17 5G: With Exynos 1330, 50MP triple camera, and 6 years of updates, likely priced below ₹20,000.

• Motorola Edge 60 Neo: A mid-range contender with Dimensity 7400, 6.55-inch pOLED display, and 68W charging, expected near ₹25,000.

• Possible launches: Realme 15T, Redmi Note 15 Pro series, and Samsung Galaxy M07.
