Tony Hawk’s Pro Skater 3+4 is the next-gen remake of the Pro Skater 3 (2001) and Pro Skater 4 (2002) games. Here are 10 things you need to know about the recently announced remake.

Tony Hawk’s Pro Skater 3+4 is currently under development by US-based indie game developer Iron Galaxy Studios.

Tony Hawk’s Pro Skater 3+4 will be published by Activision.

According to the developers, Tony Hawk’s Pro Skater 3+4 is “rebuilt from the ground up with new skaters and parks, extra tricks, and new tracks to crank up”. The skateboarding game comes with a Career mode, Single Sessions, Speedruns and the Free Skate mode.

The cross-platform online multiplayer in Tony Hawk’s Pro Skater 3+4 supports up to 8 skaters at a time.

As per the devs, the handling and controls from Tony Hawk’s Pro Skater 1 + 2 are back in THPS 3 + 4.

“Retain the stats you earned in your first playthrough and perfect your skills across every park in the game”, the developers said in an official post.

The parks from THPS3 and THPS4 have been remade in “4K resolution with streamlined goals in a two-minute format”, said the developers. Along with the old, the game also features new parks.

Pre-order Tony Hawk’s Pro Skater 3 + 4 to get access to the “Foundry Demo in June including two playable skaters, two parks, and a selection of songs”, said the developers. The Foundry demo is available only on PS5, PS4, Xbox Series X|S, Xbox One and PC (not on Nintendo Switch).

Tony Hawk’s Pro Skater 3 + 4 will launch on PS5, PS4, Xbox Series X|S, Xbox One, Nintendo Switch and PC (Steam, Windows Store and Battle.net) on July 11, 2025.
