Twitter rival, Threads, will now let you schedule posts on its platform. As per reports, Threads has been extensively testing the feature and now after a month, it is rolling out the feature to a wider audience. Instagram head Adam Mosseri has made the announcement about the new feature on Threads.
“Some Threads updates today to help manage your presence on the app: You can now schedule posts on Threads, and metrics for individual posts are rolling out in Insights. We’re also adding the ability to “markup” a post that you’re resharing so you can add your creative take, starting with a few countries with more to come soon. More to come soon,” he said.
Here’s how you can schedule posts on Threads
–Open Threads app and draft your post
– Tap the three-dot menu in the top-left corner of your draft.
–From the menu, choose the "Schedule" option.
– Pick the desired time and date for your post. Threads lets you schedule posts up to 75 days in advance.
–Once scheduled, you can view, edit, or delete your posts from the Drafts folder in Threads.
Mosseri also said in his post that Threads is introducing a way to add notes or markings to posts you share. This means you can draw on, highlight, or add arrows to a post before sharing it. Currently, this feature is available in a few countries, with plans to expand it to more places soon.
