Tecno Pova 7 series launched in India: Price, features and more

Tecno has launched its 5G smartphone lineup in India with the launch of the Tecno Pova 7 series, which includes the Pova 7 and Pova 7 Pro. Moreover, the smartphones debut with a dynamic new Delta light interface at the back, with 104 Mini LED lights, that reacts to music, notifications, volume, and charging. Further, both devices pack a 6000mAh battery with 45W fast charging support.

The Tecno Pova 7 has a starting price of Rs 14,999 for the 8GB RAM + 128GB storage model. Further, the 8GB + 256GB model costs Rs. 15,999. It is available in Magic Silver, Oasis Green, and Geek Black colour options. Meanwhile, the Tecno Pova 7 Pro is priced at Rs 18,999 for the 8GB + 128GB model, and the 8GB + 256GB model costs Rs 19,999. The Pova 7 Pro is available in Dynamic Grey, Neon Cyan, and Geek Black colourways.

Both smartphones, as part of introductory offers, come with a Rs 2,000 bank discount with leading bank cards. They will be available from Flipkart starting from July 10, with up to 6 months of no-cost EMI from leading banks.

The Tecno Pova 7 series packs a 6.78-inch 144Hz screen, with the POVA 7 featuring a Full HD+ LCD display, while the Pro model has a 1.5K AMOLED screen. Further, these smartphones are powered by the MediaTek Dimensity 7300 Ultimate processor with 8GB of RAM and up to 8GB of virtual RAM. In terms of optics, the Pova 7 has a 50MP rear camera along with a secondary camera, and the Pova 7 comes with a Sony IMX 682 64MP rear camera alongside an 8MP ultra-wide camera. At the front, both smartphones come with a 13MP lens.

Both smartphones come with a 6000mAh battery alongside 45W wired fast charging support. However, the Tecno 7 Pro offers 30W wireless charging support as well. The smartphones ship with Android 15-based HiOS 15, and come with the Ella AI chatbot, which supports multiple Indian languages like Hindi, Marathi, Tamil, and more. The company also claims that the Pova 7 5G series handsets are equipped with an intelligent signal optimisation system to improve connectivity in low-network and remote areas across India.
