First-person shooter Industria II has a new release date. The survival shooter will now launch on April 29, 2026, on PC via Steam, Epic Games Store and GOG, indie developer Bleakmill announced. The narrative-driven sequel to Industria, which features a dystopian, villainous version of artificial intelligence, was supposed to launch earlier, on April 14.
In a post on the game’s Steam page, Bleakmill gave the reason for the delayed launch: “Turns out finishing a high fidelity singleplayer FPS campaign with a team of 8 is hard. We are punching above our weights with this one once again.”
As per the studio, it is sometimes “overwhelmingly difficult for our tiny team scattered around the globe to make it fully click without burning out and being able to pay everyone fairly every month. A hard balance between passion and the reality of paying bills that most creatives out there face.”
Published by Headup Games, Industria II is a narrative-driven first-person survival horror game about a woman called Nora, who is trapped in a parallel dimension consumed by an “ever-hungry” AI called “ATLAS”. To get back to her home to 1989 East Berlin, Nora needs to fight her way through the challenges this AI throws at her. The story of Industria II is set years after the events in Industria.
Industria II features a slow-paced gameplay in which you can interact with objects and craft items. In Industria II, you will fight both humans and robots. You can upgrade five weapons with various attachments like silencers, extended magazines and even special attacks.
In this narrative-driven first-person shooter, you will meet memorable characters. It is a fairly short game and will take around 4-6 hours to complete.
Industria II features a full voiceover with dynamic music and detailed sound design. The developers have made the game teaser's soundtrack from composer No Bloom Now available on YouTube.
